Embodied units ship via white-glove courier in major markets and via discreet freight elsewhere. Voice subscription is available worldwide.
Hand delivery means an atelier-trained technician unboxes and pairs the unit in your home. Discreet freight is unmarked, signed, and delivered within an appointment window.
We verify that purchasers are over eighteen years of age via a government-ID check performed by an external regulated provider. The provider returns a single bit — over 18 — to Bit7. We do not see the document, and we do not store it.
Identity verification: Onfido (UK FCA-licensed) or Persona (US KYC-licensed) by region.
Subscription charges appear on your statement as "BIT7 LABS · TOKYO". Embodied units ship in unmarked wooden cases via the courier of your choice. Hand-delivery is by an atelier technician — never with a logo.

Yes. Reservations are fully refundable until your unit is confirmed at the atelier — usually four weeks after the wave closes. After that, partial refunds apply on the unbuilt portion.
If the country has clear adult product import rules and we have a discreet courier route, yes. The reservation form includes a free-text field for less common destinations.
Embodied owners get the voice subscription for the first year. After that, it is optional — the unit works as a quiet companion without it.
Yes — by appointment, in our Tokyo listening room or our Berlin, Paris, or São Paulo partner ateliers. Travel reimbursed up to €400 if you reserve.
The Bit7 closure plan includes a published deletion script for every owner's memory and a parts cache held by an independent escrow in Amsterdam.
For the voice subscription, yes. For an embodied unit, no — only the eventual owner can sign the brief, for reasons in the ethics charter.
